Teachers
“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.”
Henry Adams
The classroom is an integral part of the character development initiative. Character education, civic education, and service learning can be integrated into the curriculum and have a profound and lasting effect on the students, the school and the community. Many schools and classrooms have character building programs and practices in place. The character development initiative is not an additional program but instead seeks to build on existing efforts at the classroom and school levels by offering resources for intentional character education and a common language.
