Thank you for providing the opportunity for our students to make a difference in our community. We have provided a special section in the Service-Learning Handbook with some specific instructions.  You make a difference in the success of our students.

Expectations of Service-Learning Providers

1. Give student the opportunity to participate in the planning of his/her service-learning experience.
2. Provide a safe and engaging experience.
3. Report any major issues or incidents of inappropriate behavior to the Character Development Office.
4. Accurately record the number of hours the student engages in the service.
5. Help the student reflect on the impact of his/her service before, during and after the service-learning experience.
6. Advocate for other organizations to find creative ways to help students learn as they engage themselves in services that positively impact their schools and community.
